Commissioning
Performance Engineering Group personnel have over 10 years of experience providing
commissioning services. Beginning in 1995 with the first commissioning projects
executed by the state of Florida, our personnel have commissioned nearly two (2)
million ft² including the following facility types:
- Rocket Payload Processing and Support Facilities
- Space Launch Complex and Support Facilities
- Laboratory
- Office and Office Building Complex *
- University Classroom, Teaching Laboratory
- Grade School (K-8) *
- High School *
- Central Energy Plants
* Includes LEED Projects
For Performance Engineering Group, the commissioning process facilitates the implementation
of the owner’s project requirements (OPR) into design documents and verifies they have been achieved
during construction. Commissioning also helps ensure these requirements are sustainable over the life
of the facility through verification of training, systems manuals, warranties and other turn-over materials.
Performance Engineering Group’s vision of sustainable performance as a result of our commissioning process
exceeds the basic goals expected by ASHRAE Guideline 0-2005 which states the following:
“The Commissioning Process is a quality-oriented process for achieving, verifying, and documenting that
the performance of facilities, systems, and assemblies meets defined objectives and criteria
The Commissioning
Team uses methods and tools to verify that the project is achieving the Owner’s Project Requirements throughout
the delivery of the project.” - ASHRAE Guideline 0-2005
Successfully executing our commissioning vision requires the expertise and experience of the Performance Engineering Group team.
